It's Tuesday evening and I just got back from taking our elementary students to camp at Indian Village. What a terrific week we had. The theme was "Bulls Eye - aiming our lives at Jesus". it was so fun to spend the week sleeping in a Tipi - although I didn't enjoy sharing our tipi with the mice :) I did enjoy seeing kids make new friends and get excited about memorizing Bible verses, as well as swimming at the lake and trying the giant swing.
I was really tired when I got home, but I have to say it was the best week I've had at camp in a long time! Debbie,one of the other counselors and I challenged each other to learn the mega memory verse - which was Ephesians 6:10-20, and I can proudly say that we did it! And I've said it a few times since - so I'm fairly confident that I won't forget it.
